BQ Studio is an architectural and consulting firm that designs environments to inspire, unite, and leave a meaningful legacy for future generations. The studio collaborates with leading developers to create architectural and urban planning concepts, offering consulting services and educational initiatives.
The main objective was to strike a balance between form and function – where form reflects BQ Studio’s visual identity and creative approach, while function ensures the delivery of clear and comprehensive information about the company’s projects and expertise. Our goal was to seamlessly integrate both elements without compromising design or usability.
The website is divided into two primary sections. The first showcases the studio’s projects and provides information about the team, giving users immediate access to BQ Studio’s portfolio. Filters allow for quick navigation through categories like landscape design and master planning. We created two viewing modes: a visually-driven option for users who prefer to explore projects through images, and a card-based option for streamlined project browsing. The second section focuses on research and educational content, featuring reports, news, and external publications.
To reinforce BQ Studio’s concept of spatial transformation, we integrated animated “B” and “Q” typography that shifts between pages, signaling transitions and marking new sections. Subtle shadow effects further delineate areas, enhancing the clarity and fluidity of the digital experience.
A key feature is the inclusion of interactive research cards. Users can preview slides from PDF documents to get a general idea of the content, while a lead magnet offers full access to research in exchange for contact information. In line with BQ Studio’s concept of spatial transformation, we developed animated typography that transitions between pages, signaling movement from one section of the site to another.
